Low pressure fuel pump housing cracked

This pump hangs down fairly low and appears easy for ice and rocks to hit on my 2013. Something hit mine and took a chunk out of the drain tube. No leaks yet but I am looking to get a new one and keep this as a spare, or just JB weld it. Anyone know if you can just buy the lower section, or do I need to get entire pump for >$200!?

Anybody have a creative protection bracket made? Would just have to take it off to change filter though. Any leak in this housing is a major show stopper when in the middle of nowhere! Maybe why it is getting brought into the tank on new models?

Go to AutoNation Ford White Bear Lake | Parts & Accessories. replacement bowls are less than $20.

Ed,

One more thing. If you are going to order 1, go ahead and order an extra. Then you will never be in a lurch so to speak if a more disastrous failure were to happen. At the link I posted, they are $16, and its also a motorcraft part.

Awesome guys, I figured there must be replacement caps available. Part number is below for $16 as you said. Surprised rockauto did not list one. Thanks!

CAP - 2013 FORD F-250 SUPER DUTY (BC3Z9G270D)

Any pics of a protection rig to bolt onto it? I was just going to bend up a tin "U" and tech crew it on.

Check out the gaurd on the '16's. They now have a gaurd as standard equipment.

It's true the 16's do have a guard, but I dont know if it will retro fit on a pre-2016 or not.
