Since I'm going to be pulling the transmission to do the slave cylinder, I went looking for a ZF and found a rebuilt from Pheonix Hardparts w/6 mo. warranty for $1000, and I'm in Az. so shipping isn't bad.
My M5 has 165,000 mi on it. Seems to me like it'd be a good idea to go with the ZF. What do you all think, and what type of slave does the ZF have?
I dont know about that, my ZF uses a clutch fork and an external slave cylinder, but that is on a big block.
