Any thoughts Rich? We're leaning towards a dune run in April but that can still be a bit chilly still.
Since several of you guys now have boats, should we consider Higgins lake?
Higgins, would be good for sure. I am kind of thinking we may try and do 2. The early one should prolly be to break in the barn at my place, April seemed to be pretty good for that. Then we can try to nail down a date for the summer to play.
Was also thinking maybe something up by Andrew and Torr with the boats for a weekend or long weekend even.
11-13 Works for me.
My co-workers enjoyed our camp outing last year and chose Higgins this year, we'll be there weekend before for sure, and I could talk Jen's mom into staying the week to make it very easy for me to show up to Higgins that Friday night.
I have a private boat access on Long Lake by the house. The only problem is parking vehicles. No parking on the side of the road. Nevermind, it wouldn't work for overnight since there isn't a campground on the lake. Duck lake has the state park, with a launch. Green lake, across the street, has primitive sites near the Arts Academy, in case of concerts. Boat launch is right there too.

I know that my boat along with Jay's (Chad's bro in law), and Brandon's are all pretty big for smaller lakes. I think we are all around 25', so we need a fairly good size lake to fart around on.
I don't know of anything on torch for camping. Biggest reason we haven't done it yet.
Higgins has two state park campgrounds, north and south. Both have launch facilities, but the south park has a lagoon for boat parking. This is the one we want.
Jay has a good friend with a lot (not big enough for more than me though) on green lake, it is big enough for our boats but no RV camping. Would have to launch everyday. Never been on duck or long lake.
