Very hard to find in the salvage yards for a few reasons:
1. Rear bumpers, till about the mid-80s, were optional.
2. Few opted for the contour bumper because it is not made to tow.
3. Frame mounted hitches were few and far between.
4. Dock bumpers were the norm and the dealer usually had a rack of them as an "add-on" - at extra charge of course.
5. ... and if they did have a contour bumper, the chances of finding a relatively clean and unbent one in the 'yards is quite rare.
