Hard lines - Differences?
Hard lines - Differences?
I'm fixing to order from Inline Tube the fuel hard line from pump to carb and the hardline vacuum lines from carb to fuel pump to wiper motor. I have two issues, first issue is Inline says the fuel line is for a 312. I assume 272, 292, and 312 had identical fuel lines and nothing special?
Cant look it up in parts and illustration guide cause it takes you to bulk hardline you are to bend.
My other problem is I rebuilt my dual action fuel pump and I saw information somewhere that stated the inside most nipple goes to the wiper motor and the outside most nipple goes to the carburetor. Is this true? My pump works properly but on mine the inboard one goes to the carb and the outboard nipple is my suction side that I currently have hooked to my wipers.
I am almost to the point of making the swap from '61 2V intake to the original 4V intake and putting the correct dual vacuum advance back on. I wont be doing the balancer just yet I will be using vacuum gauge and advancing the timing till the starter drags when hot then back off a couple degrees. Should be close enough for running the car and having the power to drive up on a trailer.
