I'm no expert on that brand, but the last round bar hitch I had, you needed to rotate the bars 90 degrees to get them out. I also think i had to do that to get them to lock in as well though.
One fell out while just holding, as it spun around to 90, and the other one won't come out no matter what direction I put it. It's not critical, I just had to take off the ball and shank while at the park.
Well, if the one falls out at 90- degrees, I guess the other should too, unless it was somehow in backwards and it had to rotate to 270 degrees? Now that it's out of the receiver, can you spin it through a full circle?
I was just foolin around when the one fell out, so now I looked inside and saw how to disengage the pin. You pull OUT on the little clip, not push in! They say NOTHING about this "pin" in their install video. So, I'm good to go and also was able to raise the ball up on the shank a bolt. We'll see how that looks tomorrow when we hook up to go home. IF not where it belong, it is closer than when we came out on Friday, so we're good enoughtto get home, and then, if needed, I'll raise it to the last hole, or flip it over if I need to go higher.
OK, managed to get it set up better(raised it a hole) for the trip home. Everything seemed nice and level, but will take measurements before I unhook here at home. The TT, the e2 hitch, the X, and me all seemed simpatico... the CA drivers are for another time!!!
