Drum brake hardware

Hey guys,so i orderd some brake stuff from lmc and forgot to order the hold down springs.....are all thr brake hardware kits universal for drum brakes...its a 1956 f250 dana 60

H-2068 .. Brake Shoe Hold Down Spring / Obsolete ~ Available NOS & auto parts stores & repro parts sellers.

1948/56 F1/F100 Front & Rear / 1951/56 F2/F250 Front & Rear / 1951/52 F3 Front // 1949/59 Ford Passenger Cars // 1955/60 Thunderbird.

NOS PARTS LTD in Waxahachie TX has 8 = 972-937-2201.

CARPENTER NOS OBSOLETE PARTS in Concord NC has 26 = 800-476-9653.

Pic: D = F2/F250 / Y = F3/F350.

Do that mean i should be able to get them from the parts store...and are they universal

They aren't universal, except for those years listed. Your parts store could order them, it's unlikely they have them in stock but ya never know. Try RockAuto, they have a decent enough parts system online. What you want is a spring kit.

NAPA had my 48 stuff in stock and had in 1 day. I also found out that the 66-67 bronco has the same rear and brake parts as my 48. I ordered the spring kit from them for the bronco and it all was good except the self adjuster which or trucks didnt have.

1948/52 F1 & 1953/67 F100 have 11 x 2 front brakes; 11 x 1 3/4" rear brakes.

1966/75 Bronco's have 11 x 2 front brakes; 10 x 2 1/2 or 11 x 1 3/4 rear brakes as it depends on the weight capacity of the rear axle.

1966 Bronco uses the same front & rear brake hold down springs as 1961/65 T-Bird. 1967/75 Bronco front/rear hold down springs are the same as 1968/79 F100 rear.

Self adjusters introduced in 1964 F100 2WD's.
