Our furnace had the control board go up. ( it was still the original one and about 20 years old.) Was going to cost 700 bucks just to get the parts and install them. For a bit more we were able to replace the furnace and not have to worry about any issues for a few years. At least until the A/C went up.

We have a shower but that's all I spent 35 years having showers at the mines, I can relax in a hot tub of water..
