I didn't want Patty carrying the heavy basket of clothes up the basement steps, being she messed up her back doing it once before.

We have good soil for a basement, plus it doubles the size of the house on the footprint.

It's mostly clay that I'm sitting on and not sure if much of it isn't landfill, the lots behind me look like filled swamp..

Our last house was on a slab. It was nice to walk across the room and not have the floor bounce.

Might be nice to have a car hauler to park one of the trucks in, especially in the Winter.

I thought it would be nice to pick up one of those ocean liner containers, would be good to store something but there would be not heat in them to store the trucks so the shop and garage looks after them..
