power steps?
anybody know what the power steps run from the dealer after the fact?
I would like them from the factory, but they cannot be ordered on a Lariat with a chrome package.
I like parts of the lariat build and parts of the platinum build, but certain options or colors I cannot get with either.
thanks

I think you can get them with chrome package if you also get Ultimate package.

I don't think so. Chrome package removes the steps. And selecting steps removes chrome package.

Your not getting much with the chrome package anyways besides the steps. Some mirror covers, tow hooks and a few chrome strips in grill.

chrome door handles as well.
i want it just for the handles and mirror covers.
mirror covers would be easy to swap, but not so much on the handles

I believe the chrome mirror caps are one piece. Tried to do it on my 2012. Had to replace the whole mirror assembly.

I also wanted both, but in the end decided for the Chrome package over the power steps. There's always aftermarket if I decide to go there down the road.

The chrome door handles feel like a chrome plated plastic tub spout. Nice to look at though.

for those of you who have the powered steps, can you tell me how they are wired?
are they plugged into the obd 2 port like the amps, or are they wired completely different?
thanks
