Need help!!

I have an 08 escape v6 auto, it was due for oil change so I used quakerstate 5w20 with a team h20 filter... I changed oil while it was warm and then drove it after, no leaks but as soon as I put it in park to checks oil level I could hear a tapping sound from engine, I checked oil level and its exactly where it should be, old oil was light brown kinda golden color with NO metal filings, its only tapped on cold mornings, I went out 3 hrs later and the tapping has gone away for now... What the hell is going on? This gram has the valve in it... Is it that??
