Hi all, thanks for this great group! I have some problems with my phone and Sync 3. It pairs up fine but 50% of the time when it connects it seems to initiate a phone call. Not really doing that but ties up the system. If I adjust volume it shows phone volume. No matter what I do it will not hang up the "call" it thinks it is on. I have to kill phone bluetooth or Sync Bluetooth to disconnect.
Have reset Sync and the phone, works for a short while then starts all over again.
Interesting. I have an iphone too and have never had that problem. Actually never heard of that issue either. Sounds like a hand-shaking type of issue. I'd turn off all the auto features and see if that fixes anything. Things like the auto contacts download, auto dial 911 and anything else. Even the apps feature. Turn things on one at a time to see where the prob comes back.
FWIW, the issues I experience with Stync are:
1) Every few weeks the audio sharts the sheets and just doesn't work. All the other features are fine, but zero audio buttons work. It resets itself when the truck power is cycled.
2) Bluetooth is unstable and cranky. Mine will randomly just drop the connection and refuse to reconnect w/o a power cycle. Typically happens if I leave my phone in my left pocket or on long drives. It's as if Bluetooth and Stync are married; given enough time they'll fight and stop talking.
