Just because it spins doesn't mean it's good. May not have enough go juice inside, could be drawing too many amps, etc.
Batteries first.
Ok so I just put a brand new starter in it and it was cranking then all of a sudden it made a snap noise and now it won't crank at all... so something is shorting it out ? Bad fuse? Idk!

engine wont turn/spin at all?

put 1/2 breaker bar on front crank pulley and see if it can turn in either direction

might have to pull inspection plate off and look inside

did it sound mechanical or like a fire cracker pop?

With a new Ford cam sensor, new 1000cca batteries, new battery cables, new Ford ipr, watching with auto enginuity my engine only cranks over at 150 to 160rpm and fires right up.

You need to test the batteries and make sure you have good battery cables. Really you should own auto enginuity it's saved me so much time in guessing.

lobbing is normal if there is air in system still

Next time just hold throttle to 1000 RPM and let it run a bit

What voltage is batteries when cranking and GPs on?

Is the WTS light coming on?

basic checklist

*batteries?
*starter?
*WTS light comes on like it's supposed?
*Tach is reading correctly? (CPS)
*Fuel bowl full?

If all these check out, you're gonna need more info from the computer..
AutoEnginuity or Forscan, Forscan is free if you have a laptop. You just need a OBD2 to USB adapter.

If it fires up but is running rough and dies, I'd suspect oil or fuel supply issue. It's all guessing until you scan it.

No. If that is bad, it will not run. The tach gets its readings from that sensor. Trucks have been known to shut down while going down the highway when one of these fail. Many of us keep a spare in the glovebox, along with a 10mm wrench to change it.

I did have to pull start it to get it running.

How is your oil level?

Did you ever figure out what snapped?

Have you tried starting it by jumping the solenoid on the PS fender?

Do you have any way to read live data? It would behoove you to get us accurate data so we don't chase our own tail or yours.
