DuraSpark ll Ignition Coil

Trouble shooting Duraspark ll system on the 65, possible ignition coil, best as I can determine ohm reading on primary winding a bit low? Understand there's a 'coil' specifically for the Duraspark Ignition? Cyber searching and came across this deal; O' My, but then noticed seller does offer 'Free Shipping'.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/191875124201?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

Intend doing more cyber searching! Suggestion,Rrecommendation greatly appreciatated!

Oh my, free shipping for the WRONG coil!

One of the numbers the seller listed is BGA12029B, but this is an invalid Ford part number, it's actually B6A-12029-B

The Motorcraft number DG5 is listed which matches this B6A-12029-B coil .. but it was not used with breakerless (DuraSpark) ignition!

An ID number is listed: E8TF12029BA .. This crosses to the same B6A-12029-B part number.

DuraSpark electronic ignition introduced in 1974, but not all vehicles came with it until 1976.

The B6A-12029-B coil (Motorcraft DG-5) was used on 1956/73 FoMoCo vehicles and 1974/75 FoMoCo vehicles without DuraSpark.

DuraSpark modules are identified by a colored plastic square above where the wires feed out. What color is your module?

Bill, I thank you!!

The module is blue, appears the E8AF-12029-BA, nor the B6A-12029-B is correct for the Duraspark ll application? Unfortunately, coil currently installed does not offer a manufacturer's I.D., or PN, other than writing with a # 708 stamped on the bottom? Hoping to find the correct coil but appears may have to start searching for an aftermarket replace'mt? Intend using the same coil 'pick up' harness that snaps on the coil.

Again, thank you.

The numbers the seller listed are E8TF-12029-BA ~ BGA12029B ~ DG5

E8TF-12029-BA is an ID engineering number, it crosses to this same Ford part number: B6A-12029-B (Motorcraft DG-5)
.
This is the WRONG coil for DuraSpark.

This is correct: D5AZ-12029-A .. Coil (Motorcraft DG-314).
