302 v8. Hardly any rust on it also. Bought it from a guy in the mountains of Tennessee and he just wanted to put money into his old thunderbird. Runs like a champ.
Some things have been changed/added to that truck --V-8 badge on the fender and the Ford script on the blinker lenses obviously aren't stock.
Possibly the body color/color combination of the truck has been changed or, the bright trim at the rear, base of the cab has been added too. That trim would only be present on the back of the cab if the cab was a different color from the body.
My '69 Ranger doesn't have that trim since my truck came with one solid color.
NumberDummy my 67 has the Custom Cab badge on both sides of the cab corner where it turns to make the back of the cab. right about where the trim that would be the divider between the two colors if it was a 2 tone truck. i got my truck from the og. he was not the kind of man to put stuff his on his truck unless it needed to be on there. i know in the 70,s Ford put some emblems on the very back end of the bed that said CUSTOM. but what i have is diff.
NumberDummy my 67 has the Custom Cab badge on both sides of the cab corner where it turns to make the back of the cab. ALL 1967/69 Custom Cabs have the emblem in this location, but...
Where did I say anything about the location of the Custom Cab emblem?
The OP's truck has a Custom Cab emblem (you can see it in post 1), a Ranger grille emblem and what appears to be a Ranger nameplate on the left quarter panel.
The thing is, if it's a Custom Cab, it's not a Ranger. If it's a Ranger, it's not a Custom Cab.
1967/69: The Standard Cab was the cheapest, the Custom Cab was priced higher and the Ranger was the most expensive.
Super clean beauty you have there. Mine had a Mack truck bulldog on the hood when I bought it. PO's can add all kinds of things to these old trucks. Congratulations on the find.
