I went to the dealer to order a 2017 F350 6.7 but after picking up a demo on the lot and bringing it home only to discover it would not fit under the standard height garage door. The vehicle I brought home was a F250 and from what I am told and could find on the Internet the 250s and 350s are very close to the same cab height. I wound up purchasing a very hard to find new 2016 F350 lariat. It is exactly the same color as my 2011 in my signature. So there's no need to post pictures. My 2011 was a F250 with 100,000 miles on it. It had been fairly flawless except for a water pump at 22,000 and the radiator at 48,000. Both of these were done under warranty. But knowing of the very few early valve problems I wound up buying a 2016 F350 just like it. I hate to buy the last year of her old model but at least I gained a little bit more power and the other few improvements that came between 2011 and 2016. The odd thing is the 2016 F350 fits under the garage door with an inch to an inch and a half to spare.
I would personally rather buy the last year of an established model than an early build, first year of a new model. I'm sure you'll be happy with the 16. Less nannies to shut off to actually drive the thing as well. 17's are nice thou
