These first two pictures are Ford promotional pics of early prototypes. Notice the front bumper is not like the 53's ended up with. Also notice the F-100 has stainless hubcaps like the 48-52 trucks, not the argent painted caps 53-56 ended up with.

I just noticed that 54 tandem concrete truck is a marmon-Herrington.

 

That Casco Bay Ford dealer picture up above is still in business. I was just there last week getting some warranty work done on the Escape.
