Things on the 2017 that you don't like.

As for the book, a lot of us like to read it cover to cover. Sometimes it is annoying to find big sections covering something not applicable to our model. But at least there is now a nice dedicated shelf in the glove box to stash it!

The owner's manual is used even in foreign countries. I believe the Super Duty in Mexico can still have the manual transmission, at least with the gas engines.
There are SO MANY different configurations of Super Duty that it would be a nightmare to try and include only content applicable to your specific truck. Each book would need a unique table of contents and index. For example, there are XL level trucks that come with manual crank windows and door locks, plus those with power windows and locks. Some XL's have a backup cam, some don't. The list of possible options on most trim levels is pretty staggering. Crew Cab or Regular or Super? 4x4 or 4x2? Heated seats or heated and cooled? Smart key or normal ignition key? Remote start or not?
So, I understand why they print the "big book." The one thing that surprises me for 2017 is that the Diesel Supplement went away and all the info is contained within the owner's manual.

I have yet to hear the 2017 horn (I did not try it on any of my test drives) but how hard would it be to just swap it out?

Appears to be no way to remove the headrest from the center section, when folded down for cupholders/armrest etc the headrest takes up a lot unnecessary space[/QUOTE]
If you reach down below the headrest you will find two clips (one on each post same as on the other headrests). They are a tight fit to reach but just depress them same as you would on the others and you can remove them.
Again the clips are hard to reach.

Darn, I used my fingers and as I said It is a tight fit.
Gees, I should have waited for your post to come up before posting the pics.
The plow looks good in yellow but I like my stainless better.
OOPS! Sorry for the double post.

Complaints, quibbles, things I would like to see changed:
1) Hood release is located too close to the parking brake. Can't open the hood without banging my hand on the parking brake pedal.
2) Center console squeaks something awful (added to my squawk list for first oil change/shop visit).
3) Steering feels numb and dead. The wheel doesn't return to neutral on its own (I'll get used to it).
4) Cameras turn off too early. Would be nice to have the forward view until at least 8 to 10 mph for driving in parking lots. Trailer camera should be available all the time. Nice to have when hauling. Side cameras should work with blinkers (C'mon Ford, software update).
5) Options like adaptive cruise control should be available on lower trim levels.
Overall, the truck is exceptional. None of the quibbles on my list lessen my enjoyment of the vehicle. Coming from a 2001 F-250 7.3L, this truck is a huge step forward. Very happy with my !
