Have you read the owners manual for the truck?

On the 15's and up... there is another setting in the 4" dash screen for the ibc
Factory setting is Low... choices are low medium or high.. This is in additiion to gain 1-10

Change to high and gain to 10 and the trailer will lock up at 20 mph

My Prowler takes a 3.5 and my utility takes 3.0. Holds from a stop and I can feel it at 20 MPH.
Thank you all for the input! True trailer is 300 miles away at this point but I will check for proper voltage when I pick it up in another week.
My setting for the TB is set to high and the gain shows 10. When I get all sorted out I will advise.
Again, thank you all!

When you hook up again. Double check this screen. It may not have saved. (don't ask how I know)

Anyways. Once I set this, all my trailers work great. I just have to adjust the gain differences (6.5 to 8.0) between them.

We have not had an update from OP and I'm guessing this is what he found. At 13,000 my 2016 F350 is set on high and 8.0. The 'low' set on delivery even at 10 is not enough for more than a small TT.

Hi all!
I just wanted to update you on this issue (for those interested )
I had the truck at Ford for a mother minor issue. I also asked if they could/would be able to check the TBC for operation. (BTW, I have been using it in "High" mode and the gain set to 10) They check it out and noted 12-13vdc at both trailer plug connections. Impossible to check amps with out a load but I am going to "assume" that that will be fine.
I called the RV service where the trailer is now resting and advised them of the find on the truck as they also stated that they had 12+ vdc at the brakes using their tow vehicle. I explained my concerns and that my truck appears to be operating normally. I asked them to go into the brakes (had asked prior but.... ) and recheck mechanically, they din and were able to find multiple issues within including a possible overheated drum (most likely the only one that was working... !? Thank god the trailer is still under warranty!
We will pick the trailer up on Tue next. I hope all is handled and I will advise you when we get back! Thank you all of your inputs and interest! All good info.

I'm thinking I should put my trailer on jack stands and see what happens when the truck's brake controller is turned on. Hopefully I don't get any surprises. So far, just pulling between my house and the storage lot, the brakes on the trailer have seemed to be working.

I don't suppose that the brake controller on the Superduty will store the settings for each trailer so I don't have to remember what each one was?

Your truck will maintain the last setting as used. No it won't remember each trailer. But that would be cool if it would!!
