There is an Instagram account, user name Alumiduty, who is using a LOT of the truck pictures posted here and loading them onto the Instagram account.

Not sure if this person is asking permission, but they are not giving any credit to the owners of the trucks/pictures.

Just a heads up incase you wanted to know that your truck, your pictures are posted all over Instagram.

 

I noticed that too! He's picking up pretty much every new pic that's posted here.
He (or she) could at least tag people or credit the forum for his content.

My truck is on there. I only put that pic on here like 4 hours ago.

 

A picture put on a public site is not to be thought of as private. As long as he isn't selling it, or promoting himself with it, it is 100% legal.

There's nothing stopping someone from doing that....but folks might question his intentions. Myself, I have copied some of the pics from here on my desktop to keep for color/rim/lift ideas so I don't have to scroll back through a bunch of posts to find the pics. But putting them out there on InstaFaceGram or whatever else...might tick a few people off due to the unknown intentions. Hell...Rutcutter's truck is my screen saver until mine comes in....I kid..I kid...maybe....

 

It's just a pic. I would be happy if that person used mine but that's just me. My avatar is a pic a friend sent me of a 450 with black wheels. Who's truck it is I have no idea but it's nice & I like it. Not many of the 17 SD's out there and even fewer with custom features so expect the few that are out there to be all over the place.

For the record, my truck isn't built yet so a pic of my truck doesn't exist yet! Thanks FORD! Lol

I guess the question is what does it hurt posting the pics.

 

Open source information.
It's legal and used by a LOT of different people and agencies.
For us regular Joe's, it is a benign fact of the internet.

 

I print out all the pictures and each night rub them softly before putting them under my pillow.
