Putting together a TC build for stock and I wanted your thoughts.
XLT liftback LWB
Guard Medium Stone cloth seats
2nd row bucket
Trailer Tow Package
16" allow Wheels
Front/rear Sensors
2 extra key fobs
Daytime Running lamps
MSRP $29895
Anything you guys are always looking for and never see? Sorta just put it together the way I'd want it (you know, if it becomes aged and we need to unload it cheap down the road).
I like it. I particularly like the back buckets and the trailer hitch. Extra key fobs for sure. I'd prefer a short wheel base and would probably not go for the front and back sensors. I would want mud flaps.
I find the suggested MSRP a bit daunting, but assume you would do better than that.
Mud flaps are a dealer accessory anyway, so I don't like adding them to the builds. MSRP to invoice isn't a huge difference, but no, I wouldn't quote full price to anyone. My options list only runs $1200, so it's not much higher than base XLT (don't get me wrong, these things aren't cheap). The park aid is only $200, and I figure the first time it keeps you from denting they more than pay for themselves, and I've had them save me when I didn't notice the corner of something in the camera. Sometimes they give you an insurance break too. Thanks for the feedback!
Pretty much all of the TCs built prior to Feb are on the recall list from what I know. Like I mentioned, once they get off the list the market will want to unload the old inventory. But as I say, a great deal on the wrong truck isn't a great deal. I'd rather get what I want and pay for it, but if it happened to work out to be a great deal, then sign me up!
Congratulations! I look forward to seeing some pictures when your ship comes in.
Well its for me to sell. I just like to hope I screwed up and no one will want it and then I can buy it at a better than normal price when it's been here two years. But I think this one will sell just fine and dandy.
