Hershey.........10/5-10/8

 

I'm located in Northeast PA, I'll be going to Carlisle next Thursday & Friday, and then Hershey, the Thursday & Friday after that !!

 

Awww nuts, I'm in CA. Guess I'll just have to drive my truck all winter instead.

 

Cant make Carlisle but hoping to see you guys at Hersey.

 

I will be going to both! I actually sold one of my 56 f-100s and I'm hoping to pick up a 1946-1948 ford coupe, don't ask me why but I like them ! Me and probably 5 other guys on the planet! Lol

I will be going to Carlisle on Friday, I am not on any special mission so I would be glad to help on someone else s mission, I usually park on Cavalry st area near gate 7(that is where the food area is at the private homes)
I would like to help Jafo Joe search for his car. Let me know what you think?

I have never been to the Hershey show, even though I grew up in northern Lancaster County only 30 minutes away.

How is Hershey different than Carlisle? I think there are more old cars and trucks being shown and judged, right?

 

Abe, Carlisle is not a 'carshow' it is primarily a huge flea market with a large car corral.
Hershey has one of the best carshows on Saturday featuring approximately 2000 cars and trucks, in addition it has a large flea market and car corral. Most of the dealers from Carlisle move right over to Hershey

 

I have been going to Hershey since 1978. I missed a few years and will be going this year. If someone had a space (I don't) we could arrange a meet and greet date and time. I arrive Tuesday afternoon, leave by noon on Saturday and usually do something else in the area on Friday-I am walked out by Friday. Another possibility is to get together for dinner one night.

 

You guys better be careful. This is kind of how we got started with the Truckstock meets down in this part of the country. I remember a bunch of us gathered up and met at the F-100 Supernats in Pigeon Forge one year. After that, we realized none of us were serial killers, and I invited everybody to my house. I'm glad to hear you are going to get together.

 

Hey guys im all for that but i dont know if im going Thursday or Friday. Last spring at Carlisle I walked around carting a 51 hood emblem hoping someone would know Im a FTE 48-56 member. How will we recognize each other there if we dont meet up?
