So you stopped reading long enough or it stopped raining long enough to mow the grass, speaking of which I need to put the battery in the garden tractor and mow mine..

Sooo much for my Apple ‘word completion & insertion’ option. Raining is what I was after. Well... reading is fine too when it’s raining.

Do you have a lot to mow?

Sooooo much that I have to do it..2 X 60 by 120 foot lots minus the area the house and shops take up. takes about 1/2 hour when using the garden tractor and trimmer

Sooo sad you don't have a neighbor kid who could at least trim for you; that's what takes the most time when you have a bunch of trees.

Soooo, I got the mowers up and running today and grass cut, then removed all the raised bed garden timbers ,bucked them up and loaded in the truck. I'll leave the digging for another day..

wemt place some rock around every tree and along the edge of the yard-- so the mowers go over the rock just a bit---- no more trimming anywhere in the yard-- just mow and go

I do the same with mulch, but the grass likes to grow through, sooo maybe put fabric underneath?

You’re sooo wise to let those edges grow out. You have happy grass.
