if i get out while the motor is running and close the door the horn blows twice, this is irritating and I need to find a way to stop this. Any suggestions?

This has been the bane of my existance since buying a 2015 Platinum F150. It is all over the F150 boards. There is ABSOLUTELY no way to disable it. I have found workarounds to make it less annoying.
1. Leave the keys in the truck. I have even started taking the keys off of the fob to assist in this.
2. Leave keys in the truck and hit the bottom 2 buttons on the key pad, which will lock the doors. Then use key pad to open doors using your supplied code.
3. Do not slam door, but lightly close door past the first click.
I was really hoping they would make a change in the settings for the super dutys but apparently that is not the case.
Yeah SESWIM.....but the truck is running...not like he was leaving to go in the the mall. He would probably have taken his key in that case. Soooo.my question is....can you lock the truck while it's running and go in the store like I did with my 2011. Used my keypad to get back in.

Yes you can. As long as the keys are in the truck it will not honk twice. This summer if I had the window down, I would reach the hand with the key inside the window and shut the door with the other hand and it would not honk. But if the truck is running and you take the keys out it honks everytime a door is closed; Driver or passenger front. Rear doors are exempt.
The reason the horn beeps it to let you know that your engine is running. Its a legal matter that ford had to do this. Since people are stupid enough to leave their car for something when it is in their garage running, this horn sound reminds them that it is running so they go and shut it off so the carbon dioxide poisoning doesn't kill some one and then ford gets blame for it.

Funny you guys bring this up. For some reason, I saw this last night about the exact same thing. May be worth the read. I thought the link was from a thread in this section, but couldn't find it when I looked a few minutes ago, so here is the site directly. These guys have figured out how to disable it with a cheap BT dongle and Forscan. GT350 FORScan Tweaks - 2015+ S550 Mustang Forum (GT, GT350, GT500, Mach 1, Ecoboost) - Mustang6G.com
Man I agree as it scared the **** out of my fiance' and I the 1st night we was checking things out..
I'm thinking the truck has "learned" my habits so to speak as I don't get the honk like before.
I may have however learned the trucks "habits" I guess.. lol
