F150 U bolt replacement
Hey guys I have a 2001 F150 and I'm going to remove the short add a leaf the previous owner installed to level the truck and help it soften up a tad in the back. Going to replace the U bolts when I do it and was wondering if the width of the u bolts on these trucks are 3.25 or 3.5? Does it matter which one I get or can I make either one work. One site online gave me 3.5 u bolts when plugging my truck into the part finder and another gave me 3.25. Just not sure which to get thanks. I'm assuming the thread is 9/16, but would 5/8 fit in there as well?
