I have only heard about these "rare" visors that in my 11 years of owning an f150 I never saw them in person. Well yesterday I got lucky, sort of. The passenger side has the lid or cover whatever u might call it broken. I paid a whopping $5.30 each. Right at $13 for both. They need to be recovered but other than that they are in good condition.












The truck also had the dim mirror option but someone had already grabbed it.
I pulled the harness while I was there. I Had to remove the emergency pedal assembly to undo the connector. Got my screwdriver and flexed the side of the dash to get the connector out.

I saw a post where Steve83 said it might be better to undo pins from connector and slide it down or cut then mend the wires after you have fished it through. Here comes the question. Are all 92-96/97 wired for those visors or just 94+?
I have a two 94s.

Also another question is there another ford vehicle that used the same vanity light assembly that is not a unicorn so that i can hunt down the lid for the passenger visor?


Now I need recommendations. I need to get my headliner done in my project (See my post "organ donor".) Should I have it done in fabric or vinyl to match visors with seats and the headliner? These are the seats that are going in it.

Should I get the swing away visor done in the headrest material and the flip down visor in the middle material?

If all fails I can delete vanity mirror on the passenger side visor. Would hate to do that but I might just have to live with it.
