Clean the glass and the clip where they both meet, with Windex, dry them, then lay some plain silicone sealant in the clip and drop the window into it. Roll the window up and don't let it down for 72 hours.
Thirty minutes but it did not work first time.I am doing what you told me,if does not work we try the 3M 38315 Panel Bonding Adhesive (this should be the one).
That's too bad it didn't work. I like the silicone but the one problem with it is the cure time. I mentioned to wait 72 hours because that is the time for silicone to fully cure under most conditions. In reality you could open the window after 24 hours as long as you do so sparingly and you don't keep going up and down with it. Fridays after work seems to be the best time to do it if the truck is going to sit until Monday morning. That way you can close the window and just let it sit.
I got the window working right, using the Permatex 82180 Ultra Black Maximum Oil Resistance RTV Silicone Gasket Maker that I had.I let it stayed on there for 24 hrs and it worked.Thank you alloro for ur help again.
