Sept. 4 I am going to see Toby Keith at Darien Lake...SO EXCITED!!

We will be seeing Toby October 2nd at the Daytona Ocean Center, scored Row G seats on the main floor, my youngest daughter is extremely happy.

 

Junior Brown is awesome deserves more credit, Toby really lets you walk away knowing you got what you paid for... one awesome concert. Enjoy.................... My entertainment for this week is WWE wrestling coming to town this Friday the 5th. It makes no difference to me but my brother will argue with you or a telephone pole that wrestling is real, lol and we are both college grads, go figure guess that proves acorns do fall far from the tree sometimes.

 

On a side note, when Toby came to the county fair in my town, it was an hour long show, and wasn't worth the $49. Hope its better for you, and longer.

Who else was there with him? That would kinda suck...rather expensive for an hour...I figure they cant cram Jr. / blake shelton/ and toby in an hour though right?!

 

At the last moment, I think a week before they anounced an opener for him, Scott Emerick, but I didn't see him.

But if it's three of them, then probably not.

 

Just got back, bought a Toby Shirt and a Scott Emerick (sp?) shirt ...poor guy though didn't buy it because of him bought it because there is a 79 F-series truck on the front of it hehehe.


Anyway I'll highlight and if anyone wants to know more I'd be happy to tell them...


Jr. Brown came out, played for 15mins hardley anyone cheered I was really dissapointed I think he is really good just more of that "old" country...then the other guys. None the less he was there I saw him just not for long.

Blake Shelton came out just after played for about 20mins? but he was very specific with his songs, played all the good ones and so it was really good...crowd loved him (played south western playboy, then redneck girl, then the baby and maybe one more before that that I didn't know)


Then Toby came out...he came out in a 2004 F-150 LOL it was all chopped up so that it swung open like a lamborghini etc; and he was standing in the back when the smoke cleared you had to see it to understand. Anyway he played for a few hours! when he was done the whole routine he introduced the band they played then everyone left...then we wouldn't stop screaming and he came back and played "How do you like me now" It was really a great performance.

My seats weren't bad fortunatly it didn't rain since I had the last section of seats (the only set not covered) and it would of sucked to be soaked, sat beside a looser that didn't like country music (wife should of left him at home) and he had nothing nice to say, and other then that wasn't too bad. Some fight broke out when we were leaving but I just drove past it (security was right behind me)


Anyway as I said it was really good...

Glad you enjoyed the show, from the description you gave it sounds like it was one of Toby's good days lol. Alan Jackson is performing here November 9th I think.
