Smells

After I drive my truck and park it I there's a smell coming from my truck that smells like food.

i bought an early 80's dodge truck one time that had a 6" long fish under the front carpet.

maybe check there.

i know it's just a shot in the dark, but since these obd1 systems won't thow a code for seafood you are just going to have to go fishing for the problem.

We can figure this out. Was your truck assembled in USA, Mexico, or Canada?

If your being serious that's crazy lol and I don't have carpet so there isn't a fish there. The smell only happens after being driven. Smells only on the outside

Like a hamburger and fries or bacon or is it sweet like maple syrup?

If you want help, you need to describe what the smell actually is. "Food" is not descriptive.

Your post is basically saying this:
"My tuck is broken, what's wrong with it?"

Well, I was going to say it might be a critter cooking on the Y-pipe. Check to see if a varmint has crawled into your engine compartment and died there.

Probably the weepy coolant (sweet smell) leak that almost every 5.8 has, probably this:

Both 5.8L motors I've had, had this same leak. I'm hoping to prevent it with my current build. I wouldn't describe the smell as food though?
