Same here I park in a carport next to a wall, about a folded mirrors width away, so wouldn't be able to use the auto fold.

I wonder what the cameras see when they are folded in? Maybe check out the skirt parked next to you loading the car seat. Demented.

The beauty would lie within the option to turn it on and off with the cluster menu. Life is all about options. lol

LOL, I know you are kidding but the cams are in the base of the mirror and are stationary. No skirts for Rob.

Too much wear/tear on the motors? I'm sure they calculated how many would break before the warranty.

I'd rather they invest in a HUD. When towing, you should be able to see gear/rpm/mph/fuel/etc in the windshield so you don't take your eyes off the road.

I'm not a huge fan of the dependability of the memory mirrors. I just replaced drivers side a few months back and a week ago the other side is giving me issues. I am passing this one on with my trade in and I hope I have better luck with the new ones. My trade is a 2013 F350 Lariat with 53K on it.

My dealer went to bat for me because I was passed warranty. I still paid almost $600 but it was way better than $1200.

The new worry I have is, wondering how dependable the power deployable running boards will be. Some days I make no sense at all.

I have had a mirror fail on my 2009 F150, but the power running bards have not ever given me any problems. But only have 36000 on the truck

Seems silly to have to push the button when you get out and then push it again when you get back in if you're in an actual parking spot and folks would have to do the limbo to walk past your truck.

Anyone know?

Forscan, Lincoln settings will auto fold and unfold. Check out the Forscan thread for details. I had it on and turned it off now for winter. Snowed 3 cm last night. There are some pin changes that need to be done but it is showing it works 2015 to 2020 in the spreadsheet.

This forum software makes it easy to scroll too far down and answer older threads! On both phone and PC, but especially phone. I wish there was a setting to not show "related threads".

I made the change in Forscan and the wiring harness pin change and mine fold when I lock the door and unfold when after the door is closed when you get in.
