Headlights

Anyone have any idea on this. Have an 2000 F250. Was driving to work and both head lights shut off. All other lights stayed on. Tried new bulbs and no difference. Any info would be great.

If you haven't checked fuses and relays that would be the place to start and from what you said all you've done is put in new bulbs it's pretty easy to see if the filiments are blown in the bulbs if they weren't replacing them isn't going to do anything.

Had a similar problem on my 2000. It was the evil "mouse chewed through a wire". Ended up taking it to Ford and the found the location quickly and repaired it (for their normal fee).

I had that happen on an older Ford truck, ended up being the headlight switch itself, it had a small short in it and when it would get hot enough the lights shut off. Replaced the switch and had no more problems.
