5speed removal???

I just removed the transmission from a 87 Bronco II, my helper heard words he didn't know exsisted. The hard part was getting the bell housing over the exhast pipe and the cross frame, not the trans mount. before I put it back in do I need to remove the pipe or is there some sercet I don't know about?
Thanks for any help.

Yep, Y-pipe removal is pretty much a requirement to R&R the tranny. I'm impressed you got it out with the Y in place.
