So sometimes in the morning or after sitting for a long time, when I go to start my truck after a few seconds it will start to rev up and down on its own and start shaking. It goes away after 30-60 seconds and then runs well. Truck has about 300,000kms on it. Not sure whats wrong.
Sounds like it may be getting a little air in the system, its a common problem and usually happens after they sit, sometimes over night sometimes after months. What happens is the fuel drains back into the tank (poor connection could be anywhere) and when you start it the small amount of air the injection pump goes through the system and the injectors are getting a mixture of air and fuel. If it gets to the point where it starts and quits after by 30 seconds you will need to address the problem. Hundreds of posts on here about starts and quits
