Truck is 1996 F150 XL 2wd, 2 door, with the 4.9

Got codes checked today since the previous owner disabled the CEL somehow. I have 5 codes.. Looking for help and ideas on where to start with repairs.

Codes:

P1443:
Evaporative Emission Purge Valve Malfunction

P0411:
Secondary Air Injection System Wrong Flow

P0301:
Cylinder 1 Misfire Detected

P0171:
System Too Lean Bank 1

P0174:
System Too Lean Bank 2

 

Sounds like at least part of the problem is a vacuum leak.

 

So, where to start? I was thinking of replacing the purge valve, and then putting the OEM belt back on so my air pump works and maybe thatll take care of the lean issue?

 

any more ideas on the issues?

 

Start by searching for vacuum leaks. Looking for open/cut vacuum lines, especially around the purge valve and AIR solenoid stuff.
