Adaptive cruise and adaptive steering

I found a F450 KR that is very close to the platinum that I have ordered but it does not have either the adaptive steering or cruise. For those that have experienced them I ask are they something that I will regret not getting? TIA

If you have never used it probably not, but since my wifes Fusion has it I definitely would miss it, the cruise is great set your speed and it adjusts to the traffic flow for you, also if the traffic comes to a stop it will stop the vehicle for you for up to 3 seconds, then accelerates when the traffic flows again.

Well, I was convinced when I bought my 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee that the adaptive cruise was a waste of money.

I can say with all honesty, I won't have one without it from this point forward. I'm not sure I even know how to drive without it...lol.

Don't know about the adaptive steering but IMO the cruise if most definitely worth the money and wait.

Can't comment on the steering yet, but the cruise is great. Especially here where people have no idea of the "slower traffic keep right" concept.

I'm very impressed with the Adaptive steering,I would find a truck that has it if I was you. I cant comment on the adaptive cruise as I opted not to get that.

My wife's 2017 Audi Q7 has the adaptive cruise and it is nice to drive longer distances with for sure where you don't have to do anything just sit back and enjoy the ride but on shorter trips you'll never miss it. The adaptive steering is another thing entirely-I drove a Platinum F450 (of course with the adaptive steering) at the Ford drive event in Anaheim, Ca. a few weeks ago and turning back into the convention center parking lot I was impressed how much of a difference the adaptive steering makes. The tech could turn it off and back on with his laptop so you could see the difference while driving it. Never having it, I don't think you would miss it but then again before AC was available that was ok not to have as well........Your choice at the end of the day. Personally I don't get a new truck often (my last one was an 02 7.3 Lariat CC 4x4) so I want ALL the extra goodies on my new one! lol

I have yet to drive a vehicle with either feature, but, if they work the way they're advertised, I would have no interest in a truck that wasn't equipped with them.
