That picture is the first time I have seen one of these trucks and thought how tall they are. The clearance to the bottom of the door reminds me of my 97 f350.
It's the first one without running boards I have checked out. Does look tall.
Thanks for the picture. Super cab looks good. I ordered without running boards and will buy aftermarket probably. Originally all I wanted was the standard black OEM style used by Ford for years but these trucks are higher and I am afraid my wife will not have a good time with entering and exiting. Considering the motorized since these trucks look good with all the ground clearance as this truck shows. Also thinking about the Iron Cross or similar steps but they really only decrease the height a few inches. Oh well, maybe just have to play conductor and run around with a step stool. Or leave her home. No wait, I didn't even think that!

You will absolutely need running boards. I'm 6'5" tall and the 2017 regular cab 350 I sat in was awkward even for me to get in. I tried for awhile to figure out the height thing. The roof is maybe an inch taller than the old style Super Duty. But the overall cab body itself is shorter than the old design, not by a lot, but combine that with taller frame rails...and the cab sits considerably higher off the ground although overall height difference is not much. Definitely get boards.
I will say the new cab feels a tad narrower, but overall it still fit me very well.
There are 3 Platinum's at dealer lots in Maine, but apparently one was sold on Saturday. Casco Bay Ford in Yarmouth had 2, the remaining one is a gasser. Haskell Ford in Maine appears to have one. Mine was ordered on May 9 and appears to be still in processing.
