I live in the Raleigh area and I'm looking for a reputable engine builder. The plan is a stroked 351/427 build with 400 +/- horsepower - i.e. no racing, dragging, etc. Naturally aspirated, maybe EFI, and so on. Finding quality builders is more about word of mouth so I'm turning to the forums for a little help. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
I've had good experience with HRT Performance in Durham. They recently relocated to Raleigh. Their website is out of date, but facebook page should be accurate.

Not sure if you are still looking or not, but just finished a 302 rebuild by Boyette's in late August...
Guys were great to work with, family owned for 3 generations, and so far no issues with the work they did for me. I leaned on them a lot for recommendations. I went nearly stock with my motor but they have experience with racing engines too so I expect they can do any type of build you want.
