Are you wanting a shoe shine rebuild or a high performance motor built? I'm in Tyler and I go through T&K Performance. He's expensive, but goood and most all is done in house. It also doesn't hurt that I've known him for almost 10yrs and seen several cars he's built on the street and racetrack.

I've got a rebuilt 400 that was given to me but was left outside before I could get it and has some light rust in 3-4 of the cylinders. The rest of the motor still looks new. Plus whoever put it together used what looks to be a half dozen tubes of orange silicane sealer. So I'm just going to have it cleaned up.

Well I'm probably not much help as I just stay in north lufkin, but I know there is a performance shop that works on cars like ford gt's, vipers, elises etc. They would probably know a good place to have work done. They are located on hwy 69 about a mile north of the loop on the east side of 69. Hope this helps. I'm also on a local car board and I'll ask them too.
