started about a year ago with 60K on the odometer. Initially had all of the u-joints replaced with new bushings. The wobble was back at 65k so had the ball joints done. About 4k later the wobble is back. Had the wheels balanced and rotated at Les Schwab and the alignment checked. The wobble happens when I hit a serious bump and if I am towing the fifth wheel ..... bloody terrible.
I just wonder if it is in the steering box....? There is no slop in the steering and the truck tracks straight.....
Death wobble occurs when some part of the suspension is worn out , it could be as small as a track bar bushing or a ballpoint . You may end up taking the whole front end apart to find it but something is worn out.

Well so like you already replaced some parts, but your saying it is still there. Did you replace those parts or did an auto place or dealer tell you to try fixing some of those things? Just curious as some folks who have encounter the wobble have tried different things and replacement parts.
I had the front end lifted 2" to compensate for the installation of a 50 gal tank in replacement of the original 26 gal tank that came with the truck. I have air bags in the rear.
All of the work was done by various shops.
