They leak oil and it's obvious. They lose their gas charge and it's not visibly obvious.

Factory shocks are probably designed to last about as long as the warranty.

Lot's of people don't realize that their vehicle is riding bad and blame the shocks. They just accept it and drive on.

I went wit the pro comp ES9000s. However, I have only drive .5 miles with them. They just got installed today.
Once I get some drive time with them I'll report back since I haven't seen anyone else using them.

Got the new shocks installed on all 4 corners. The rear shocks were a breeze to install. The truck rides much better on rolling bumps. No longer does it keep bouncing/rocking. It was worth it, for sure. The old shocks were toast. Could compress them easily with one hand, not to mention they were falling apart from rust. Thanks for the advice everyone.
