Supplemental heater is a HUGE job to add after the fact. A guy did it to a past gen truck and it was an enormous undertaking and costly as well. Do a search for adding it in the 6.7 section of the board and you will see his journey. As to the TPMS and cam, I'm thinking that would be an easier job but that's strictly a guess....
Cant find the number on the Build sheet but it shoes in the Build and price on the web. Just going on what our dealer told us if we wanted to get the camera later.
From how it is described here, the camera and truck side outlet come separately from the truck even when the camera is ordered from the factory. Either the dealer or the customer then removes the 4 pin plug from under the 7 way in the bumper and replaces it with the supplied camera outlet. I'm guessing the wiring is already there with a dead plug ready to be plugged into. That's how the guys who have been to drive events and asked have described it. Makes sense but I have no first hand knowledge yet...
Seems like everything that has anything to do with the camera system outside of how many there are is in dyer need of some clearer info for the customers.
Let me take a stab at this. This is from the order guide.
65B-Customer-Placed Trailer Camera (req. Ultimate Trailer Tow Camera System (874) or Rear CHMSL Camera (873)
653-Individual Trailer TPMS/Customer-Placed Trailer Camera (req. SYNC® 3 (913); req. Ultimate Trailer Tow Camera System (874) or Rear CHMSL Camera (873)
65B is the trailer camera alone, 653 is the camera + TPMS
These are indeed invoiced by the factory but shipped separately for dealer installation.
But they both require either 874 or 873 to be installed at the factory.
