Back to Square One

I was promised a dealer trade which was suppose to come today. It was supposed to be from a store that a sister store to the one I ordered from i.e. They are both owned by same owner.

I emailed my dealer every day to remind them to stay on top of this. Guess what - worst thing came true - someone at the other store sold the truck.

Now we start again.

Azure the last thing I would do is order now, I believe you are in Frisco, go to one of the dealers and ask to see the orders they have pending for stock. I was looking at five star ford I think last week and they had like 80 on order, find one that has what your looking for and put a deposit on that vin and it will hold it. Just my 2 cents but there are a ton of them ordered around here, good luck.

Few things suck more than that for both you and your salesman. I've had it happen to me a few times. The process from you saying yes to the car getting on your lot may only take a few hours, but that's all it takes sometimes. A good salesman at the trading dealer who had a customer on that truck would probably call and say "hey, I know you wanted to think about that deal, but the truck is leaving today if you don't get in here now"

Had that happen to me on my first ever new vehicle, a '98 F150. Ended up ordering a '99. I was upset at first, but actually glad it worked out the way it did. Good luck!
