Exclamation Front parking brake cable

So, I've been searching for this damn front parking brake cable for the 67 (C7TZ2853D), with no luck. I can get the cable for the 2WD (C7TZ2853A). They are the same length, but, don't know the difference between them. Bill, Jeff, Got a clue on this one?

You are correct. They are listed as having the same length. I don't know what the difference is but the place I'm listing below shows the C7TZ2853D.

I can get it from several places, but, I'm just wondering if it has different attachments, or what.

I'm guessing it is the length of the cable's housing is different. The over all length may be the same but maybe not that housing. In the pic Ford shows the retainer bracket down on the frame side to be different. Prolly mounted in a different spot. So the housing could be a different length. Look at the right lower corner of this pic Pat.

Maybe it's another "67 ONLY" issue?

Yeah, I have that pic, Jeff. That's what I was wondering. Well, may have to just order it, and if it doesn't work, send it back. I'll have to be the guinea pig for you guys that may need this later!

I don't understand Pat. If you are getting the NOS one why wouldn't it work?

The one I found that's available is for the 2wd, and I have a 4x4. I guess we'll see what the differences are when I get it.

Here is a breakdown of the different part numbers and lengths for the parking brake cables, maybe this will help. It has both front and rear cables listed.

Yep, appreciate it and have all that, the problem is the 72 4x4 cable is not called out. NUKEFORD was trying the 2WD cable and that is probably what I will have to do too. Interested to see if it worked or not.
