Congrats! My friend has a very similar rifle, Ruger 30-06 with a Nikon scope and the same Mannliccher stock. I finally got drawn for X3a, but it's gonna be a bugger getting the time off for it. Might try and get one with my .62 trade gun though.
I carried that rifle as a tribute of sorts the last 2 years. A neighbor that was like an uncle to me passed away. He left it to me knowing it would get used. I thought it was pretty special that it's still getting to hunt.
Congrats on X3. I don't have the time to hunt serious right now with university. I haven't applied for a draw in a few years. I should apply for devils garden just for the points though...

We do tend to have small blacktail here. That's pretty average for a young buck in this area but they're definitely small compared to their cousins to the east.
He got a DUI ticket while driving my car, and it was impounded. Had to borrow $488 (in addition to what I had, and he had) in order to get it back out.
Oh yeah, thats right
Have to share this, A guy I know is truckless as both his Chebbys have blown trannys so he borrows a car then wrecks car and in process gets dui #4. Haven`t talked to him in 6 months but see his daughter all the time.
Today is my Friday as Friday I take my Exc for new seat cover. Time for coffee,,,,,,,,,,
Never quite understood why people enable DUI'ers... They deserve every bit of pain and suffering they get. I'd never loan a car to someone with a DUI history.
Yeah, I will not do that again. However, at the time I loaned him my car, I did not know about his DUI history. He has all kinds of fines to pay now, and traffic school and community service. I have no sympathy for any of that. Hopefully this will have an impact on him and he will not do it again.
In other news, the battery works fine, but now, the engine wants to die when I put it in gear. It will not keep the revs up. CEL light does not come on, but I think after six months of being on all the time it is burned out, as it does not come one when you first turn on the engine. If it is not one thing it is another. Car has been fine with no issue up until about a month ago when the right front brake started pulling when I put the brakes on. Then the battery, and now the idle problem. I can't wait to get the back pay check, so I can finally get some much needed work on this thing.
