Help identifying aftermarket stuff?!
Just bought my 2011 F350 power stroke. And I find this dial wired into the harness under the dash...

Anyone know what it is?

That's kinda why I took a picture and posted it. The two wires run into a harness that is fully wrapped under the dash. You can see one of those wires is green.

Try grounding that yellow wire that got ripped off and see what it does.

High idle mod. Do not ground out the yellow wire, unless you like risking your electronics. Here is a link to another site that has the same pictures. SEIC (High Idle) MOD PICTURES - Diesel Forum - TheDieselStop.com

At that angle it looks like the blue connector sticking out its tongue is already close to grounding on the parking brake assembly.
There is also a disconnected yellow ground wire at the top right of that pic.

The yellow with the butt connector is a pass through wire.
