Thanks for the add! I have a question and looking for help. I just purchased a 1976 F250 V8 390 supercab (camper edition). I picked it up and drove it home about 25 mins. Truck ran great. A few days later I drove about 4 miles ran great and parked for a while. Started it back up and drove 2 miles home and the truck died. I put a little gas in it and jumped it and got power and drove it home. It sat a day or so with me just starting it. Two days ago I started it up and it ran for a while and I was checking the alternator connection, thinking the battery died for that reason. Put it all back together fired it up and then it died. Now I can't get it to run. I've replaced (thinking its electrical) the solenoid, the ignition switch, the coil connection cap, tried a different coil from another ford, and we tested the control module. I've even bypassed it all and went straight to the coil from the battery. Still get the same result, which is the truck turns over, but when the key rests back in the run position it dies. Any new ideas to look into?
