Question Reversed eye leaf source

Folks,
Who's the most economical source of reversed-eye main leaves for my '59 F100.
Thanks,
Brett

Reversed eye leaf source

Have you tried taking them to a local spring shop & having them reversed - that would be the most economical way.

I have even heard of folks reversing their own.

Barring that, I think most of the major spring mfgrs could help - posies, eaton, etc.

Reversed eye leaf source

Brett,

I got mine (for my 54) at Sacremento Vintage Ford (home of the endless surcharges). Not sure if they carry them for 60's models though. The previous suggestion of a local spring shop is a good one though.

Later,

Thumbs up Reversed eye leaf source

Hi Brett, I plan on haveing a local sprinf shop build the top leaf with a reverse eye, they quoted less the $100 Can for the two.
I will filp the front spring hanger and remove the mumber of leaves I need to get the desired ride height. Ozzie

Can anyone refer me to a local (SE US) spring shop that can reverse arch my springs. It is my understanding that they have to be heated to a certain temperature before bending. OR any shop any where.
