Front bumpers

Does anybody make a decent polished stainless steel front bumper for '48-'52s? I'm concerned about the quality of the chrome bumpers offered by the various parts houses.

Yes they do. This one from Macs
Ford - Ford Pickup Truck Front Bumper - Polished Stainless Steel - Macs Auto Parts
And this, probably same one from Dennis Carpenter.

Thanks Mike. Don't know how I missed that when I looked at their site.

Yes, Abe, the gloss black does look nice. That is what I have now but it has taken a real beating over the years.

Yes, I considered that. Thanks. How long have you had it? My concern is what it looks like after a few years. I don't mind paying a bit more if I won't have to replace it ever again.

LOL, mine is still in the box it came in standing in the corner behind the bedroom door. This is for the build I'm doing now. I would have bought the stainless but with the state of our Canadian dollar against the strength of the U.S. dollar was the deciding factor. Everything I purchase from your side gets doubled unfortunately..
