Lacking Interior lighting up front in the Excursion
I don't like the way Ford lacks interior lighting up front in the middle by the windshield, or anywhere else up front. Hard see things at night sitting in the front seat from the factory dome lights.
Anybody add auxiliary LED lights, like hanging from their sun visors, or anywhere else up front?
I swapped mine to all led in the front, plenty of light now.
That's what I plan on doing also. I would like some light coming from right above me, and my passenger, like where the sun visor is.
I've been looking on the net for flexible LED lights, but haven't found much. Wondering if people have did something like this already.

I added 2 watt led lights in the overhead console and 2 5 watt leds in each corner and 1 on the center hump
I have changed out all the interior lights to LED. also added led lights under the dash. tied in to come on when the doors open. i will take pics tomorrow.
Sorry for the large pictures. but thats leds under the dash and a custom overhead panel i made with them in that as well. The excursions just dont come with great interior lighting from the factory.
Thanks guys! I really like the LEDs and that is what I plan on doing. I would really like to mount LEDS up in this area to point straight down in front of me so I can see things at night better than the stock placement of the center dome lights. I want to have daylight right in front of me.

Bah, in that case take one of those 10" LED strips from VatoZone, stick that sumbitch on the secondary visor and throw on some sunglasses.
