Cooling tank replacement questions

Just curious, I know the coolant bottle on my truck is three bolts (already had them in done once for compressor work) but I am going to replace the tank it is rather yellow and I am concerned that it will fail soon and cause more issues, how hard is it for draining the coolant? Is there a plug that I can use perhaps at the radiator that will let me drain the tank that way?

I just plug the tubes with either a #2 or #3 Phillips screwdrivers to stop any flow. Easy to replace the tank without issue.

It's a real easy replacement. Just make sure the bolts are out first before removing the lines, Make sure the cap is on and just tilt it towards you as you are taking it our to minimize losing much fluid out of the tank.
